I met Peter when I was in Ireland as musical director for ‘Elvis The Concert’. I was impressed when I heard the music he had written. Sensitive lyrics and flowing melodies along with a beat realy made me take notice.His music is well organized, he can write, he can sing and to me that spells success. I spoke to Peter two days ago and told him I would like to arrange and produce his Love Song recording Febuary 7th.I would also do the TV show on the 14th..The fee for arrangement and production of “Love Song “will be $—- US plus plane ticket and hotel. As long as I am there I will conduct and act as musical director for the TV special. The fee for TV would be $—-. Peter knows these prices are more than fair. I feel this could be the start of something big!!!!. As far as the tour is concerned I would very much like to do it.,when you decide on the dates please contact me. Also for the tour The Imperials (Nominated 17 times for Grammys, 4 time winners,2 with Elvis,16 dove awards,40 million records sales,Gospel hall of fame inductees,quote Elvis”The greatest gospel singers in the world”unquote, if available could really add to the show as Peters back up group. I am writing in support of Peter Byrne. I was on a trip to Galway and went to the Quays Music Hall/Resturant bar and Peter and his band The Glass Onion Band were playing that night and they were absolutely terrific! At the time I was the entertainment chair for the Nantucket Yacht Club, Nantucket Island, MA and was responsible to book entertainment for all social events at the club. On a whim, I asked Peter if he and his band would like to come to Nantucket and play in August for the annual Shipwreck Ball. I gave him a budget and asked him if he could make it work with airplane fares etc. and he did. They were all so wonderful in every way, on time, well dressed, well mannered and on top of all of that they ‘rocked the club’ and people still talk about them to this day. It was a wonderful experience and one I will always remember. If I were still the entertainment chair I would not hesitate to hire them again!!!
