I am writing in support of Peter Byrne.  I was on a trip to Galway and went to the Quays Music Hall/Resturant bar and Peter and his band The Glass Onion Band were playing that night and they were absolutely terrific!  At the time I was the entertainment chair for the Nantucket Yacht Club, Nantucket Island, MA and was responsible to book entertainment for all social events at the club.  On a whim, I asked Peter if he and his band would like to come to Nantucket and play in August for the annual Shipwreck Ball.  I gave him a budget and asked him if he could make it work with airplane fares etc. and he did.  They were all so wonderful in every way, on time, well dressed, well mannered and on top of all of that they ‘rocked the club’ and people still talk about them to this day.  It was a wonderful experience and one I will always remember.  If I were still the entertainment chair I would not hesitate to hire them again!!!“

Hey Peter

How are you doing? I hope you got home safe from Mayo??
I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for playing at our wedding, and I hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did.We searched long and hard for the perfect band and we when found you guys, we knew you would be perfect, and you didn’t let us down. Everyone complemented your talent and asked where we found you, so thank you and the guys for giving up your new years to ring it in with us on our wedding day in Mayo! We couldn’t have asked for a better night, we will pop into the Quays one night when you are playing to say hello as we missed you the night of the wedding!

Dear Peter,

I never got a chance to talk to you after you finished upafter our wedding at Cloghan Castle 12th September to thank you personally and your band for what was a most memorable wedding we could not have asked for better with regards your band. Everyone had a great night and the amount of people that passed on compliments about your band was endless, thanks again and keep up the good work.
